Poems Received From The Earth Herself

When I sit with Mother Nature I often receive profound messages that bring new insights and deep healing. I wanted to create a space dedicated to the messages I receive from Mother Earth, and pass them on to you.

This poem came from sitting inside the trunk of an old childhood tree.

Her Message....

HIGH AS THE TREETOPS

As high as the treetops reach,
So do her roots underneath,
Reaching down deep into the earth,
Where from a tiny seed her strength is birthed.

We see beauty only on the surface,
But underneath, there’s so much purpose.
So much strength and wisdom unseen,
Through her endurance and stillness,
Of 1000s of years that have been.

You can hear the whispers of the trees
The ancient spirits that speak to you and me,
With the wind blowing through the leaves,
Nature has a voice if you listen carefully.

We see only what we want to see
We are told she is only a tree,
But when I sit with her and listen
Her voice of wisdom sets me free.
